Initially I thought I would have time for all these great webinars during the Corona lockdown but there are so many and so interesting that it would now take me the whole day, every day to participate in all. Nevertheless, as autonomy is my growing interest I think this seminar form the Norwegian Maritime Cleantech is worth it.
Ensuring efficiency and safety in electric vessels
As a result of ambitious climate targets and the need for more sustainable transport solutions in cities around the world the number of electric ferries and fast ferries is expected to grow rapidly in the years to come. Developments within battery technology have been vast within recent years, and ensuring efficiency and safety are key parts of the development work.
The TrAM H2020 project invites you to a public webinar where maritime industry actors share knowledge and experiences from European innovation projects related to electric vessels. We will also get an introduction to the new rules for the use of batteries in maritime applications taking effect from July 1st this summer.
Please register for the event, a link to the webinar will be provided.
